The blue bubbles on my sheets make me feel like I'm swimming.

¨BARK¨ Kirby pushed open the door and is now chewing a sock, but my lava lamp catches his attention, the pink blobs floating weightlessly in the white bottle. Next to my bed, is a small cabinet where I hide all lollies in it. A pile of books lay on top of the cabinet shows I'm a bookworm.

Cross Country Race

 “GO! GO! GO!” screamed the crowd of the Cross-Country race as big bundles of people ran past. It was so loud me and my friends had to cover our ears cus’ of all the people screaming! We had to listen to that for about twenty more minutes, then it was our turn. We all lined up - I was next to Ryan and Logan, they were fast of course but i'm still going to try my hardest. “Ready, set, GO!” Said Mrs Leitch. A few people tumbled over but that didn’t stop them from running, they got up and went! I didn’t really like running but I still did it, anyway I was off to a good start, but then fore people went whizzing past me, I ran past the junior playground then I could see the finish line, I sprinted to the line while over taking a few people. As I ran past the finish line a teacher said, “Good job two more laps to go!” I sprinted to the finish line for my second lap now I was on to the final lap. I just jog at the start of the final lap but a few people speed past me. ‘Change of plans!’  I think in my head, I’m just going to run as fast as I can to the end. Finally the race is over. I didn’t get first, second, or third but I’m still happy I finished the race.

A cloud to wrap my neck,

A blank page,

A pail boy,

A polished marble,

A land of fog,

A cloudy sky vanishes the sun.

I Have a Scarf (One)

A void to wrap my neck,

A dark shadow,

A hint of night,

A night makes it vanish,

A shadow ends the day.

Ginger bear

“...Happy birthday dear Kar-one, Happy birthday to you!” ‘Finally, we can eat! I’m starving!’ As I walk into the room with all the food im greeted by an urge for a drink. I look around, I can only see this darker lemonade looking drink. I grab a little blue cup and fill it up with the mystery liquid, it fizzles and pops. I take a sip; YUCK. I try to get rid of the taste by shoving chocolates into my mouth. “What is this stuff!?” I yell. A eleven-year-old looking kid walks up to me and says, “That's ginger beer, alcohol for kids.” “Yuck.”
