This year I've had a good year so I decided it would be a good idea  to write a year Reflection about my year.

My favorite things this year:

• At school we had athletics day it was really fun!
• I went to the gold coast and to all the theme parks there!
• How me and Ryan made a story called 'Piggy Wigs'.
• When all those cool movies came out.

Brown and dead,

To kill the blue sky.

I look over the empty fields

End Of Genius Hour!

No! Genius hour is over! I had lots of fun making my website. I'm sad that Genius hour is over and I hope I do it again next year! I have finally finished it so here it is! THE LINK IS HERE! 😎

“EEEK!” MY brother Nathan screamed as crystal clear water filled his brand new kayak. We had been kayaking on lake taupo when… A GREAT BIG ROCK SMASHED THE SIDE OF HIS KAYAK! It made a big hole on the side of the kayak, it started to sink. Nathan panicked and started wobbling, it flipped over on my kayak and… MADE MINE SINK! I quickly grabbed it of water and told nathan to hold on to the back of it and that's exactly what he did. Then I paddled us both to shour.

How is making a wall a good idea they can just dig under or break it down, and why dose he all ways love picking up random peoples kids. Goals

My first Goal is to learn my 7's, 8's, and 9's of by heart. I am going to achieve this Goal by practising it every day.

My Second Goal is to do my best on sprints on athletics day (I'm not very good at running😛)

Sports Activator

Today we are going to sports activator!” When we get there we through some heavy discs as far as we possibly can!(Discus) Then we could chose to carry on with the discus or we could do some shot put. After we played a game of two ball soccer, our team lost sadly.😛

HORRIBLE WORM EXPERIENCE!

Regan Has Orange Hair

His short orange hair is the perfect fit for all his freckles. He has Gray and Yellow sport shoes for running super fast while he's playing soccer. Running is a breeze for Regan, and he’s really fast, he came second in the cross-country!

This is the nicest person I know…

She has dark brown hair, so dark sometimes I think it’s black. She has twinkly sky blue eyes, a black t-shirt with little blue butterflies on it. Her lovely smile stands out on anything on her body, even the red sandals she wears, she covers her dark eyebrows with a pair of black sunglasses.

“Breakfast's ready!” She softly call to me from the lounge. My mum LOVES kids especially me, that is because she works at a kindergarten, and she absolutely LOVES to bake with me and my brother!

She is so nice, whenever she sees people that are sad, she cheers them up by telling them jokes, and her jokes are THE FUNNIEST JOKE EVER. She doesn't lie. (Unlike me)

I love my mum and she loves me!

The Cross-Country Race

 “GO! GO! GO!” screamed the crowd of the Cross-Country race as big bundles of people ran past. It was so loud me and my friends had to cover our ears cus’ of all the people screaming! We had to listen to that for about twenty more minutes, then it was our turn. We all lined up - I was next to Ryan and Logan, they were fast of course but i'm still going to try my hardest. “Ready, set, GO!” Said Mrs Leitch. A few people tumbled over but that didn’t stop them from running, they got up and went! I didn’t really like running but I still did it, anyway I was off to a good start, but then fore people went whizzing past me, I ran past the junior playground then I could see the finish line, I sprinted to the line while over taking a few people. As I ran past the finish line a teacher said, “Good job two more laps to go!” I sprinted to the finish line for my second lap now I was on to the final lap. I just jog at the start of the final lap but a few people speed past me. ‘Change of plans!’  I think in my head, I’m just going to run as fast as I can to the end. Finally the race is over. I didn’t get first, second, or third but I’m still happy I finished the race.

Walking On The Moon

The Moon!

People have been fascinated with with the Moon ever since Neil Armstrong went there. Here are some facts about the Moon!

The Moon doesn't make its own light, it reflects the Sun's light, which make these things called ‘Moon Phases’. These Phases change depending on where the sun is. There are eight phases - The New Moon, Waxing Crescent, First Quarter, Waxing Gibbous and the Full Moon, then it just goes round around the other way.

If you went into a shadow on the mo you will freeze to death, so you really do half to be careful where you land especially with all those craters around! The moon is a lot colder (and when I say a lot I mean A LOT!!) than Earth at night but at day its a lot hotter.

Cats

Cats!

Cats are amazing animals, they use their whiskers to balance, see if they can fit into small spaces, and to see in the dark!

Also, cats can look very cute when they are tame, but when they are wild the are vicious little beasts!

Cats can run up to 30 miles per hour and can jump almost seven times its  height! Cats are called different name because of their gender, a male cat is called a ‘Tom’ and a female cat is called a ‘Queen’.

Dear Green Team and Teachers

We have a rubbish problem in the class, and in the school, and in the whole wide world! It makes me very sad because it is so easy to recycle.

Here are some ways to stop this problem from getting bigger. Start a ‘soft plastic’ bin near your rubbish bin at home then bring it to school the next day, or get creative and reuse some of the stuff we're throwing away to make cool things.

All this rubbish we’re throwing away goes to landfill, which is a place where they fill big holes in the ground with rubbish and then they just build houses, buildings and even ruby fields on top!

This makes us all very sad but I have an idea for something we could do in the  school we could put  a ‘Soft Plastics’ bin outside so we don't need to go inside to put our ‘Soft Plastics’ in the right bin, during morning tea and lunch.

Phases Of The Moon

My Snowy Holidays!!!

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!

The holidays are over, I wish they could last forever, but I've had lots of cool snowy memories at the snow. I chucked snow balls at my brothers face and went sledding, then we went to the hot pools (which were really hot) and the day after we went to the turtle pools. They were just swimming pools with a cool name but it was fun because there were stools that we could jump off and do bombs into the pool and there was this big blown up 'dolphin surfing' course which is where you run along an inflatable platform that has lots of obstacles to get though. It was really,really fun!
